In August 2006 I was awarded a commission to sculpt "The Blessed Mother", "St. Joseph and the Christ Child", and the "Corpus of Christ Crucified" for a new church, Holy Trinity, that was being built in Fairview Heights, IL.

I sculpted and cast "The Blessed Mother" and "St. Joseph and the Christ Child" simultaneously.  When finished, I devoted my time and energy to the sculpting of "Christ Crucified".

In December 2007 the sculptures were all in place for the dedication celebration of the new church.

The original clay figures were sculpted in KleanKlay, a petroleum based clay that is non-drying and can be reused, then cast in Forton MG95, a gypsum/resin composite.

Small Sculptures

Small sculptures have been treasured since ancient times.  Often, they are cast from the preliminary sculpture for a large artwork.

The profits from sales of small limited editions can even provide the funds to pay for a large sculpture.

Each sculpture is numbered, dated, signed.
